eLearning Course + Student Kit – $159.50
Start your Open Water Scuba Diver eLearning course and master all the important academic information. You can complete this phase through self-study, at your own pace, in the convenience of your home or office. All eLearning courses work on mobile and tablet devices too. We book end the eLearning course with two 1-on-1 lectures with an instructor in our shop.
Pool Training – $429
The next step will be to complete your in-water skill-development training. This takes place in our Manhattan swimming pool over 2 sessions, under the supervision of a Scuba Network Instructor. We keep our classes small (4 students per instructor, 5 max) to give you maximum attention and master your skills. Check our schedule for upcoming dates.
Open Water Dives – $249
The final step is to complete the 4 required Open Water training dives under the supervision of your Scuba Network Instructor. Here you will apply what you have learned during your academic and skill-development sessions, while learning practical lessons that can only be gained through real-world experience in open water. You can do these dives on our group dive trips to warm water included as part of the trip! Depending on where you perform these dives, that could be up to a $400 value. You can also join the weekend dive groups with our sister store in Fort Lauderdale, or obtain a Global Referral Form to complete your dives with any instructor from any international agency (SDI, SSI, NAUI, PADI, etc.) around the world. Our local dive season is June-October.

You can do these dives on one of our group dive trips to exotic locations included as part of the trip, locally June-October off the North Shore of Long Island, with our sister store in Fort Lauderdale, or obtain a Global Referral form to complete your dives with any instructor from any internationally recognized agency (SDI, SSI, NAUI, PADI, etc.) around the world.
What’s Included in my SCUBA Class?
We supply all the heavy dive gear: Tanks, Weights, BCD Jacket, Regulator, and Personal Dive Computer for your use throughout the pool class free of charge. Many students choose to purchase some or all of this gear to learn on their own equipment, which makes them a better diver in the long run, but it is not required. For open water checkout dives, no gear is included, and may be rented or purchased.
Personal items: Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Booties and Wetsuit can be purchased with a student discount or rented. We also provide a student discount on gear mesh bags, dive knives (for East Coast diving), gloves, and neoprene mask straps. Select brands of Personal Dive Computer are also available for a student discount. Terms and conditions apply.
Upon completion of all of the required skills, you will be issued a FREE digital certification card with zero agency registration costs. Physical cards can be purchased for $19.95.
